About

Bassett & Loaf was established in April 2023. The founders of Bassett & Loaf are sisters, Roberta and Sophie Coll, affectionately known growing up as Bertie Bassett & Soph the Loaf, hence the name. Both sisters share a passion for animals and, having grown up immersed in country life; have a special fondness for the intricacies of British wildlife and country living. 

Sophie has always found pleasure in art and design and enjoys hand-painting all of the Bassett & Loaf creations. Roberta has a background in communications and social media marketing and enjoys writing the captions that accompany Sophie’s quirky illustrations.
